As the Software Developer you will be required to work closely with the company’s management team, participate with international presentations & commercialization of products, use your creativity to improve & extend the product range with all the freedoms of a non-structural environment, roadmap future products, plan and develop these products across a portfolio of PC and mobile platforms. The candidate will be responsible for developing the architecture, design and test unique User Interface echnologies.
RESPONSIBILITIES·Software Architecture, Design and Test of the User Interface applications for next generation PC and Mobile Sectors·
Drive the planning, developing and executing of test integration and regression tests for software applications·
Development with particular skills and experience covering application and*or interfacing aspects of computers and*or mobile devices
REQUIREMENTS·
Qualified to BSc (Hons) 2.1 in Computer Science or equivalent qualification· Very good proven knowledge and over 2 years industry experience with C,C++ and object oriented programming·
Demonstrated knowledge of and experience in developing products utilizing a variety of PC driver and mobile communications technology, including Java, J2ME, MIDP, .Net and*or C#·Proven know-how in the field of software design, testing and commercial development of software applications·
Expertise in operating systems for mobile devices especially Symbian and Microsoft Mobile Platform (Pocket PC, Smart-phone, Windows CE)·
Expertise in desktop or server operating systems especially Windows XP, Windows Server and Linux·Experienced in planning, developing and executing test integration and regression tests for software applications·Successful candidates need to be available to start in March 2005.SALARY£23K to £25K p.a. With increases relative to service, success & progress.
